The Datahaven Windows SDK for ECM enhances this logistics-oriented ERP application so that it natively supports document imaging, barcode recognition, and workflow functionality. Datahaven enables the seamless, native processing of all of the sources of content, including fax and email integration as well as content received via EDI and FTP. The application also makes use of a Datahaven OCR Extension to further automate the data entry process for the 1.5 million+ invoices processed annually. Applying advanced, rules-based business logic to recognize the "fingerprint" of every invoice, the system uses advanced zonal OCR functionality to extract relevant data from each invoice.
