Datahaven EnterpriseAdmissions |
One of the largest, multi-campus community colleges in Virginia uses Datahaven in its Admissions, Student Records, Financial Aid and Business Offices to serve tens of thousands of students attending multiple campuses. The College generates a significant percentage of its revenue from third party contracts with the military and civilian workforces in the area. These employers provide authorizations to their employees to serve as a form of payment at the college. The College has measured significant cost savings created by a reduced need for storage and the elimination of countless man-hours previously wasted tracking down missing documents. The College also has created efficiencies by faster retrieval of data, concurrent data access with its PeopleSoft student information system, and better quality control over the processing and distribution of these payments. In the College's Business Office, where they normally focus on dollars and cents, the College found that the largest gain created by its use of Datahaven was a recognized ability to deliver better quality and faster customer service to its internal and external customers. |

CampusVue integration |
With nearly two dozen campuses in the United States, a private vocational education company uses Datahaven to manage the documentation created by its part-time highly mobile student population. Each of its campuses scans student records and other documents over the Internet for central electronic storage at its corporate headquarters. Each of these documents is available for searching using the unique identifiers established by its student information system, CampusVue. |

Financial Aid |
A private college of approximately 2,000 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students implemented Datahaven as a back-end repository and front-end workflow engine. End users scan admission files, student records, grade sheets, financial aid forms, alumni gifts, purchase orders, invoices, and refunds in Datahaven. The front-end processing of these documents occurs using a combination of the College's legacy systems along-side Datahaven's workflow. Several data imports were created between Datahaven and the College's legacy systems to reduce manual data entry. |

Human Resources |
A public school system with more than 7,000 teachers and other employees and over 30,000 students uses Datahaven to scan and index documents related to all aspects of the day-to-day activities of its human resources department. This includes processing applications, interviewing candidates, hiring teachers and classified personnel, as well as numerous other internal activities. The system uses index data to populate automated form response letters to job candidates. |
