Before being acquired, one of the largest aluminum producers in the world used Datahaven in its accounts payable department. Using a benchmarking standard from the Hacket Group, Reynolds measured its employees' performance monthly. Before adopting the Datahaven document imaging and electronic workflow system, the Reynolds accounts payable department processed approximately 8,000 invoices per FTE per year. After adopting Datahaven in its shared services environment in conjunction with its EDI, ERS, and credit card processing systems, the Reynolds accounts payable department processed up to 29,000 invoices per FTE per year. According to The Hacket Group, these numbers placed Reynolds in the top 2% of accounts payable departments in terms of process efficiency.
